When the preacher preaches he must make it clear that this is not a general love that God has, but a specific one. It is a one way love directed right at you. You are in its crosshairs and God does not miss.

The problem lies in how we view the law. If we understand the law as Jesus described it—rigid, demanding, and requiring complete obedience in word, thought, heart, and deed—then we face a very big problem!
